Ed Sheeran‘s Loop Tour is continuing on, with or without his opening acts, and now it appears the singer will be without a sold-out date as well.
Sheeran’s tour kicked off in June in Glendale, Arizona, and has made stops across the U.S. and Canada. There are currently nine dates remaining, with the tour wrapping stateside on Nov. 7 in Tampa, Florida. But controversy erupted days ago when Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots and their home venue, Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, initiated a pressure campaign to get opening act Macklemore off the bill for expressing his pro-Palestine views from the stage. Since then, other acts, including Finneas and Lukas Graham, have withdrawn from the tour in support of Macklemore and free speech.
While Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour that ended in 2025 sold out multiple venues and went on to become one of the most-attended tours of all time, his 2026 outing hasn’t fared as well. And now, Ticketmaster is showing thousands of available seats for his remaining dates, including the controversial concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Sept. 25.

For now, Ticketmaster still has seats to all the remaining Loop Tour dates starting from $87 for the final show in Tampa. Tickets to the Foxborough shows start at $112 for upper-level seats.
Surprisingly, prices are even lower on third-party sites, with resellers listing Sheeran tour tickets for below face value. Tickets to the Gillette Stadium shows start at just $78 on SeatGeek, a 30% discount. Stubs to Sheeran’s Indianapolis date on Oct. 10, meantime, start at just $66 on SeatGeek.com. Use promo code ROLLINGSTONE10 to take $10 off your purchase of $250+.
The lowest prices we’re seeing for Ed Sheeran tickets online is at StubHub, which has section 200 seats from just $65 for this weekend’s Philadelphia concert (as of this writing).

All three sites deliver tickets digitally by email or phone and guarantee authentic tickets delivered in time for the show or your money back. All prices were accurate as of this article’s publication on Sept. 16.
There is a potentially positive flip side to all of this: while artists are dropping out of Sheeran’s tour, and some disgruntled fans are canceling their tickets, the inverse effect is that it’s never been cheaper to see the “Thinking Out Loud” singer on tour.
Sheeran has responded to the decision to drop Macklemore from his tour, putting the blame on the promoter, Messina Touring Group, who he says was under pressure from the venues. “I have spent this week trying to build bridges, to find a solution, and unfortunately, was unable to do so,” Sheeran wrote on Instagram. “I know who I am, both as a person and as an artist, and those who know my heart know my values too.”
