All Life Of Olly achieved its ninth platinum album. The certification, which arrived with this week's FIMI survey, brings the album published in October 2024 just one step away from diamond discthe highest threshold established by the Italian Music Industry Federation.
The achievement adds to the fourth platinum obtained last week by Silly Nostalgiathe song with which the Genoese singer-songwriter won the 75th edition of the Sanremo Festival. With these two recognitions Olly reaches 40 certifications in his career: 30 platinum records and 10 gold records.
What is needed for the diamond disk
The diamond is obtained by overcoming the 500,000 units sold, which with the current thresholds corresponds to ten platinum records. Olly he's at nine: he only needs one certification.
The detail is not secondary, because in the streaming era that threshold has been reached very few times. The old diamond certifications (Vasco Rossi, Ligabue, Jovanotti, Tiziano Ferro, i Modà) belong to a different market, that of physical copies, with parameters that have changed several times over time.
The diamond records of the streaming era
With current parameters, the Italian albums that have achieved diamond status are two.
The first was Sirius Of Lazzacertified in December 2024: a record that had already set the record for remaining in first place in the FIMI rankings, with 21 weeks at the top, and which with the diamond became the most certified album ever in the streaming era.
The second arrived last March: Person Of Marracashreleased in October 2019, which surpassed 500,000 units after more than 330 consecutive weeks on the charts, more than six uninterrupted years. A fact that is unprecedented in Italian music.
The albums closest to the finish line
Behind All Lifethe group of pursuers is compact. This is what the race for the diamond looks like today among the records that have not yet obtained it.

If the tenth platinum arrives, Olly would sign the third diamond of the streaming era. And the first one that doesn't come from rap: the other two bear the signature of Lazza And Marracash.
The numbers of Tutta Vita
Published in October 2024, All Life it is the most listened to album of 2025 and has remained in the Top 10 of the FIMI/NIQ chart since 89 weeks. The album alone, without the re-release, has 24 certifications: 22 platinum and 2 gold discs.
Adding too All Life (Always)the re-release released after Sanremo, brings us to 30 overall certifications between albums and singles: 25 platinum and 5 gold.
On the song front, Silly Nostalgia it is four times platinum. Triple platinum for For Two Like Us And Devastatingdouble for This Sunday And Doodlesplatinum for Depressed Fortunato And Those Memories Over There. Gold record for So so, It's a party, We Don't Need to Make Love, The Shipyards of Japan And At Squarciagola.
The live album does not increase the count: what the FIMI regulation says
It was released digitally on July 10th Tutta Vita – Live (Luigi Ferraris Stadium)which collects the three Genoese concerts. A legitimate question is whether its sales add up to those of the album, bringing it closer to the diamond. According to FIMI regulations, the answer is no.
The methodological note provides that the versions Live can be grouped with the original album, but only under certain conditions: they must contain all the tracks of the standard version, have the same title (possibly with a subtitle) and above all be published within twelve months since the release of the original.
All Life was released on October 25, 2024. The live album arrives twenty-one months later, well beyond the expected window.
Then there is a second rule, even clearer. The regulation distinguishes live versions that use the record's tracklist from albums that collect recordings of specific live events, and for the latter it establishes that they are not grouped with any studio version of the album. The Ferraris disc falls into this second category.
The case is different All Life (Always)the reissue released on September 26, 2025: eleven months after the original, within the useful window. This is why its sales are included in the calculation.
The tenth platinum, therefore, will have to come from the album.
The Ferraris live and the stadiums of 2027
The album collects the entire setlist of the three sold out concerts of Everyone at homeperformed in Genoa on 18, 20 and 21 June in front of over 90,000 people. The dates brought music back to Ferraris 22 years after the last concert, that of Vasco Rossi in June 2004. Alongside the songs performed with the band, there is also an acoustic set, one of the most intense moments of the show. The album will be released on CD and vinyl in a limited edition on July 31st.
Meanwhile, the first two sold outs have arrived OLLY STADI '27the singer-songwriter's first stadium tour: sold out dates Bologna at the Dall'Ara Stadium (19 June) and Milan at the San Siro Stadium (23 June). Eight dates in total, with 250,000 tickets already sold.
