The live event
Vasco Rossi will celebrate his 50-year career with a long residency at the Olympic Stadium in Rome in June 2027. There will be ten concerts spread over three weeks: 6, 7, 10, 11, 15, 16, 19, 20, 24 and 25 June, for an event that aims to attract over half a million spectators to the capital.
The announcement comes while the rocker from Zocca is engaged in the 2026 summer tour, welcomed by record participation since the first dates in Rimini, Ferrara and Olbia. After Bari, Ancona and Udine, attention is already shifting to next year's big event, which will represent the culmination of the celebrations for the singer-songwriter's half century of artistic activity.
The choice of a residency, rather than a single mega-event, responds to a precise idea of Vasco's: “to transform this anniversary into an event enjoyed and participated in. Not a single event capable of concentrating hundreds of thousands of people in a single day, but a large widespread party, designed to allow everyone to experience the concert with greater ease, safety and quality”.
The initiative will be the final moment of the so-called “Jubilee of Vasco”, the program of events that Rome will dedicate to the artist during 2027. Ten evenings at the Olimpico to retrace a story that spans five decades of Italian music, from its origins in the Seventies to the great successes that continue to fill the stadiums.
