Muse's tour began yesterday in support of their latest album, the tenth of their career, The Wow! Signal (here is our review). The first date was held at Summerfest in Milwaukee, in the States, where the band will continue to perform between July and August before moving to Europe in November, with dates scheduled in Milan for the 20th and 21st of the month.
24 tracks, two encores, and a series of firsts. The band stuck with the single Hexagonsone of the five tracks – which follow Be With You, Cryogen, Nightshift Superstar, Unravelling – Of The Wow! Signal enter the ladder. Fans also got to listen Hanging in Victory Squarethe song that Matt Bellamy and Ilan Eshkeri prepared for the Amazon audiobook version of 1984 by George Orwell, a version of Knights of Cydonia opened by Man With a Harmonica by Ennio Morricone, and some returns like Algorithm And Take a Bowthe latter closing the concert, which had no longer been in the setlist since 2019.
The concert mainly revolves around The Wow! Signal, Absolution And Black Holes and Revelationswhile they find little space (i.e. only one song, Will of the People and Origin of Symmetry). However, there are no songs taken from Simulation Theory of 2018 and since Showbizdebut album from 1999.
