The wait is growing for the return of the Foo Fighters to Italy. On Sunday 5 July the band led by Dave Grohl will be at the Snai La Maura Hippodrome in Milan for the only Italian date of the “Take Cover Tour 2026”, thirty years after their debut album.
The concert comes at a significant time for the group, which released its twelfth studio album, “Your Favorite Toy,” in April, preceded by the singles “Today's Song” and “Asking For A Friend.” There tour Europe, which started in June from Oslo, has already proposed a setlist that alternates the great classics of the repertoire with songs from the new album, with some surprises such as the live return of “Marigold” in an acoustic version. Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee will take to the stage, joined by new drummer Ilan Rubin, making his live debut with the band following the exit of Josh Freese.
Opening the evening will be Idles and Fat Dog. For the Foo Fighters this is the only Italian date of the tour, destined to attract thousands of fans from all over the country.
Based on the setlist proposed at the Olympiastadion in Berlin last July 1st, here is the possible lineup of the Foo Fighters concert in Milan.
