Taylor Swift has been seen leaving Electric Lady Studios after nine-hour overnight session, and New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani has seemingly confirmed when she is set to get married to Travis Kelce.
The pop star was spotted heading to the Electric Lady Studios in New York on Monday (June 15) at around 8pm, and not leaving the building again until just after 5am. As seen in videos of her leaving the studio, she left the building is with Alana and Danielle Haim – two thirds of HAIM.
It isn’t known why she headed to the studio nor if there is new music on the way, but that specific venue has been her go-to space in New York for years now, with her recording songs for albums including ‘Folklore’, ‘Midnights’, ‘Lover’ at the space, as well as various ‘Taylor’s Version’ re-recordings.
We have already seen some music from the singer recently, following on from her releasing her latest album ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ last October. Earlier this month, she released the song ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’, which she recorded especially for the soundtrack of the new Toy Story film.

That song was written and produced alongside Jack Antonoff, and takes on the perspective of cowgirl Jessie, with Swift going back to her country roots.
In the time since releasing her last album, Swift has also been planning her wedding to fiancé Travis Kelce – tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs American football team – and has been spotted celebrating the Knicks’ recent victory with the HAIM sisters.
The date of her wedding has been kept closely under wraps since the engagement was confirmed last summer, although Kelce has suggested in the past that they are looking at having the ceremony in the summer.
As highlighted by Billboard, the US footballer will be heading to the Chief’s training camp late next month, meaning that if the wedding were to take place this summer, it would have to be over the next few weeks.
However, while little is known about the date the couple have in mind, NYC mayor Zohran Mamdani appears to have let it slip that the ceremony will be in the city in early July.

At a press conference on Monday, the mayor was asked about the steps the city has taken to keep NYC safe over the next month – with the FIFA World Cup final set to be held on July 19 at the MetLife Stadium, and expected to welcome around 80,000 fans to the venue for one of the biggest nights in sport.
“I am fully confident in the work of the NYPD as well as our state partners in delivering that safe experience,” Mamdani said. “We are the biggest city in the country. We are used to big events and we are incredibly excited for this one.”
He continued, adding the other events that are taking place around that timeframe: “We know it coincides with July 4th, America 250, Taylor Swift’s wedding, all happening at the same time… And we are so excited to welcome the world here.”
He did not speak further about the wedding, although did say that he was “wishing them a lovely” time and clarified that he had not been invited to the ceremony, despite some rumours.
Billboard has since reached out to the Mayor’s office for clarification on the comments, and a spokesperson has said that the comments were only based on a TMZ report, which said that Swift had applied for a permit at Madison Square Garden for July 4 weekend.
