“Speak Speak” is the new single from Latitude 45a song that tells with irony and lucidity the difficulty of enjoying a moment of break without being continually interrupted by the chaos of everyday life.
The piece comes to life around a simple and universal scene: a beer at the bar which quickly becomes the meeting (and clash) point between nostalgia, unexpected conversations and sudden presences. Between the “good old days” evoked by nostalgics and friends who re-emerge from the past, the quiet dissolves, leaving room for a continuous flow of stimuli and distractions.
From a sound point of view, “Speak Speak” moves between two complementary registers: a first part characterized by guitar and bass in balance almost in unison, with a fresh and relaxed sound, which progressively opens up to a more pungent and nervous rock, in which thoughts related to commitments, responsibilities and daily tasks resurface.
The song thus reflects an ordinary evening seen through the gaze of those seeking escape from work, expenses and an increasingly suffocating routine. The voices overlap, perception is fragmented and the need for lightness clashes with a reality that continues to chase the protagonist.
Between irony and disillusionment, “Speak Speak” returns an authentic portrait of contemporaneity, transforming an ordinary moment into a lucid photograph of the sense of modern alienation.
LATITUDE 45
The project LTD45 was born from an almost casual meeting during a birthday party, from the intuition of Andreino who brought together DJ Ego and Bulby, giving life to a new musical direction. From this first nucleus, an original sound takes shape that blends hard rock, reggae, dub and hip hop, characterized by a strong sonic impact and great expressive freedom. After a period of research and selection, the lineup is completed with the entry of Phobia on vocals and Dj Raiz on scratch, elements that contribute to defining the band's identity.
Over time, the band faces some lineup changes: Dj Ego also continues his solo path, while continuing to actively participate in the project with ideas and creative contributions, while the lead guitar passes into the hands of Marco, who brings with him experience, new ideas and a strong musical personality, further strengthening the group's sound.
Through tests, experiments and a first demo, i Latitude 45 they are starting to make themselves known as a growing reality in the scene. Despite the evolutions, the group maintains cohesion, energy and a strong live attitude, evolving without losing its identity. Today Latitudine 45 are working on a new album scheduled for 2026, with the aim of renewing and pushing their sound even further, keeping intact the energy that has distinguished them since the beginning.
