A few days after the debut of the new stadium tour, Vasco Rossi has revealed some details on the concert schedule, promising an unexpected opening. The rocker will leave on Friday 29 May with the traditional soundcheck reserved for fan club members, while the first official concert is scheduled for Saturday 30 May at the Romeo Neri stadium in Rimini.
Through a post published on Instagram, Vasco talked about the work behind the construction of the setlist: “The setlist will amaze you… it starts with a song that no one expects, rearranged. It will be a great blow”. For the singer, the opening song is decisive: “Once the first piece has been chosen, it's like the incipit of a book, the other songs follow suit.”
The Emilian singer-songwriter then explained the emotional mechanism that guides the concert: “The first three songs must be strong, tight, without pauses. With the fourth comes the emotional ballad. The songs must form a mental wave, both in the lyrics and in the music”. Vasco also highlighted the importance of balance between songs, including continuity of tones and alternating between more energetic moments and more intense passages.
In recent days Vasco Rossi also shared some videos of the rehearsals in Rimini: “Hours and hours at the stadium… sun in your face, music in your ears and rock in your veins. You try, you try again, you change, you start again”. And again: “The energy grows, the sound becomes compact, the concert takes shape”.
