The second edition of the Raccoon Music Award, the contest in collaboration with OndaRock, created to discover the new talents of the emerging Roman under thirty scene, finally arrives at the Monk for the highly anticipated final!
For the occasion the event will take the form of a real festival: starting from 6.30 pm the courtyard of the Monk will be colored with varied stands, including artisan jewellery, make-up artists, vintage clothing, vinyls and listening desk. Furthermore, to best welcome the fervor of the Roman underground scene before the start of the race, the garden will host an open mic set.
It will be an evening full of surprises. At 9pm the doors of the Monk's central theater will open to officially kick off the challenge, which will be preceded by two special opening acts: Flowhertz, a band with enthralling funk-pop sounds, and Ventidue, who won the last edition of the Raccoon Music Award with its energetic pop sound.
The competing singers will compete on the main stage, performing two songs each. They will be evaluated by a jury of industry experts made up of representatives of OndaRock, Radio Rock and the Alpha Music record label. The final verdict, however, will be the result of total synergy: the vote of the public in the room will also be decisive and will be weighed together with the technical vote of the jurors. There will also be moments of interaction between one set and another, with quizzes and musical games offering prizes for those present.
