Recognized all over the world for his writing and the ability to break the rules of industry, Yungblud He marks his return with a hymn with an epic duration of nine minutes. The twenty -seven -year -old artist of Doncaster, the United Kingdom, whose last two albums reached the number 1 in the UK and broken through the top 100 of Billboard, whose catalog has accumulated 6 billion streams globally, closed a period of silence by publishing its most complete song to date.
“Hello Heaven, Hello“Follows a strand of UK classic rock medley in a composition that embraces different styles of the genre, simultaneously evoking the past and the future. Never one who follows the mass, Yungblud shows with this track of being one of the most imaginative young songwriters and musicians in the world.
Also released the official video of “Hello Heaven, Hello”, directed by Charlie Sarsfield.
Speaking about what inspired him, Yungblud reveals: “Hello Heaven, Hello is the opening of my new album. It is a journey of self-recording, a farewell to the past and the way you knew or perceived me before and a hello to the future and where I am going. Set the previous one of what this album is. It is a soundly more ambitious adventure than ever, a journey destined to be listened to in its entirety, that I did not get out of my way. It took place with a declaration of intentions. I have to be and I am doing exactly what I should do, realizing exactly what I want, exploring the past, the present, the future and above all myself. This album seems magical to me and this is the starting point – where the fuck will we end up? We see. Let's go on horseback. We ride ”.
It is surprising that the song was conceived four years ago, before the realization of the self -marked disk “Yungblud”, which broke through the British charts in 2022, and during the last stage of the exhilarating but tiring tour of “Weird” of 2020. Rather than rejoicing of her statement, the artist (real name Dominic Harrison) was alone in a hotel room in New York, to reflect on the potential. Creative pitfalls that awaited him. “I felt like I was starting to repeat myself, I had fallen into my cliché … In my comfort. In a certain sense it was good; it meant that I had my own style. But I always said that when my people will know my next steps, I will have failed”. This aversion to predictability explains the choice of his return; “Hello Heaven, Hello” does everything except to return to the canons of a traditional single. On the contrary, he shows off the level of singing and musical skills of which Yungblud is capable, paying homage to the most important moments of the genre.
The exit slightly follows the news that the Bludfestthe Festival curated by Yungblud, will return to the National Bowl of Milton Keynes this summer for its highly anticipated second year. Yungblud will once again be on top of a billboard that presents some of the most interesting emerging talents, offering fans a stellar lineup at an affordable price. Last year the Festival saw a crowd of 40,000 fans. The Bludfest Year 2 will be held on June 21, 2025.
