Gazzelle has released a new single. It's called We don't and it is a nostalgic song that talks about happiness, memories, objects: «We were as beautiful as dusk, like films from the 90s, like helmets on the head full of stickers, like a calm Sunday, like looking from behind a curtain at someone he's throwing a party and we're not.”
«I wrote it a year ago, in autumn, while I was moving house and opening the boxes one by one where there were a lot of things, mostly useless, that I had been carrying around for several years», explains the singer-songwriter in a press release. «Opening each box I realized that there was so much stuff to throw away or give away, so much wasted time, so much wasted energy, remorse, regrets, and strange puppets… in short, there was really everything. Everything except us. Who knows where we ended up… maybe in a moving truck, maybe at a party we weren't invited to, maybe on a Saturday. Or who knows, maybe we're still here even if we're no longer here.”
Gazzelle will perform on June 7th at the Circus Maximus in Rome and on June 22nd at the San Siro Stadium in Milan.
