Blue Foundation Return With Their First Full-Lenager Album Since 2016, AS Close to the Knife is officialy set for release on April 18 via Køn Records. The Copenhagen-Brooklyn-Based Group, Led by Founding Member Tobias Wilner, Continue Their Exploration of Cinematic Dream Pop with a sound that Blends Ambient Textures, Shoegaze, and introspective songwriting.

Ahead of the Album's Release, The Band Have Shared Its Third Single, Ecstasy in Space. Written by Wilner and Recorded in 2024, The Track Features New Blue Foundation Member Nina Dahlgaard Larsen, Who Makes Her Debut On Vocals. Built Around Gauzy Guitars and Pulsing Rhythms, The Single Adds a New dimension to the band's Established Aesthetic. Speaking About The Track, Wilner Said: “I Wanted to Capture My feel of Floating High On Feelings,” A sentiment echoed in the refrain: “Wish you were mine.”

Accompanying the Release is a New Music Video Directed by Hannah Bertram. Shot in Copenhagen, The Follow Film A Group of Young People On A Night Out, Moving Through the City Toward An Underground Warehouse Party. With Its Raw, Hypnotic Visuals and Nostalgic Tone, The Video Matches The Track's Themes of Escape, Longing, and Youthful Euphoria.

Blue Foundation, forms in 2000 by Wilner, Has Evolved Through a Rotating Cast of Musicians. Since 2010, Wilner and Bo Rande Have Servad As The Band's Core Members, Creating from Studios in Brooklyn and Copenhagen. Known for Their Emotionally Rich Sound, they have released albums Including life of a ghost and blood moon, and their music has appeared in Miami Vice, The Vampire Diaries, and the Twilight Film Soundtrack (Eyes on Fire).

The Upcoming Album Close to the Knife was mixed by Wilner and Mastered by Francesco Donadello.
