After performing in Cologne, Germany, the rapper Baby Gang announced the stop to the tour, attributing the responsibility for this decision to technical problems and to people in the audience who pretended to faint.
The rapper's European tour, part of the stable Warner Music Italystarted last October 25th with a sold out in L'Aquila, followed by stops in Barcelona, Madrid, Zurich and Luxembourg. The stop came after the concert at the Theater Am Tanzbrunnen in Cologne, announced not from the stage but via a long message on social media.
“Unfortunately my tour ends here.
It's been a long time since I went on stage and I didn't remember that some people are still like that… I'm not made to be with people, and above all I no longer have patience for anyone.
That's why I decided to stop my journey here.”
Why does Baby gang cancel the tour?
In his message, Baby Gang he reflects on an “examination of conscience”, also inviting the public to do so, and accuses the technical team and part of the public:
“I don't want people to see my negative side, and that they see me nervous or angry on stage. But if I have to do my evenings like tonight I prefer to stop and examine my conscience! But do it too!!
Tonight was beautiful but because of some technicians who didn't know how to do their job, and some people who wanted to bother, everything I worked hard on for a long time was ruined.
I had to stop 4 times because after one person fainted and was really sick, a lot of people started pretending to faint. And this made me skip the entire schedule I had prepared! And I had to improvise. If a person is sick or faints I can't ignore it and carry on!
And if there are animals that don't see that there are families, children and women it's not my fault.”
His outburst ends with these words:
“I have a contract and I have to spend 50 minutes on stage, no more and no less. Every minute you waste throwing your phones at me and talking to me while I sing, or wanting to go on stage without even knowing the songs… you're wasting time, not me.
Know that you disrespect first of all the people who really came there to sing and have fun but above all me too! And unfortunately I'm not the other artists, if I feel pissed off I'll fuck off!!
Some time ago I did it for money. Now it's just a revenge.”
Apparently, the decision of Baby Gang it is irreversible for now. The rapper apologized with a message addressed to the audience of the following dates, in particular in Stockholm and Berlin:
“I apologize for the inconvenience, to the Swedish and Berlin guys, but money doesn't buy dignity and respect, I'm a man, not a prostitute. We will try to make up this date as soon as possible, and those who belong to the family will wait for us, otherwise we will go to hell.”
In reality, the “The End of the World European Tour” still includes three Italian dates: December 12th in Ancona, 14th in Milan and 21st in Turin. The Milanese date at the Assago Forum could take place, as his latest message suggests:
“See you in Milan, as long as I don't feel pissed off.”
How will your audience and those who have already purchased tickets react? Currently, on the website of Trident Music, Ticketone And Ticketmaster tickets for the Italian dates in the sports halls are still on sale.
