The Foo Fighters are back. The band played a string of smaller venues earlier this year and one-off shows, but they’re returning to major stadiums with dates starting in August 2026. The Foo Fighters will hit twelve stops in the U.S. and Canada.

Queens of the Stone Age will serve as the opening act for most of the US dates, with additional support from Mannequin Pussy and Gouge Away. The relatively short string of dates includes stops in Chicago, Philadelphia, and Nashville. The band is skipping several major markets on this leg; there are no planned dates in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, or Houston, for example.
In July, the Foo Fighters released “Today’s Song,” followed by “Asking for a Friend” earlier this month. The Foo Fighters also shook up their lineup earlier this year, firing drummer Josh Freese and replacing him with Ilan Rubin, largely known for his work with Nine Inch Nails. In something of a drummer swap, Freese was tapped to join Nine Inch Nails on their tour.
The Foo Fighters’ last album was 2023’s But Here We Are, the band’s first full-length following the death of long-time drummer Taylor Hawkins. Given the release of two singles this year and an arena tour in 2026, it’s reasonable to suspect a new album may be on the way.
The band’s 2026 tour hit general sale on Oct. 31 on Ticketmaster. General sale tickets range from $63-$500. If tickets sell out, you can also check resale sites, including StubHub, VividSeats, and SeatGeek.
