The new highway code strongly supported by Matteo Salvini did not go down well with Vasco Rossi. And he was keen to reiterate it with a recently published video on his social media in which he addresses his audience.
««Matteo Salvini has made sure – for your good – that if you have smoked a joint even a week before and you are stopped, you can be arrested immediately and your license will be withdrawn for three years», explained Vasco in a harshly polemical tone taking it out on a passage of the new code which toughens the penalties for the use of cannabis (the driving license can be suspended for up to three years for anyone who tests positive, regardless of the time of consumption). Further: «This is Minister Salvini, he decided it for your good, naturally».
The video was followed by the caption: «From today… even if you are driving lucid… lucid yes or lucid no, arrest and suspension of your license for three years. “For your own good.” The new highway code is out everywhere. Thanks to Matteo Salvini.”
Knowing Minister Salvini, it is easy to predict his response.
