Born in the lively indie scene of New York, i Vampire Weekend They redefined the panorama of alternative rock with an innovative and sophisticated sound. Formed in 2006 at Columbia University, the band led by Ezra Koenig (voice and guitar), with Chris Baio (bass) and Chris Tomson (drums), has been able to mix indie rock, Afrobeat and baroque pop sounds in a unique and recognizable formula. Their homonymous debut album (2008) immediately caught attention with iconic songs such as “A-Punk” and “Oxford Comma”, conquering criticism and public. The success was consolidated with “Contra” (2010), which debuted in the first place of the Billboard 200, and with “Modern Vampires of the City” (2013), which won the Grammy Award for the best alternative album. After a six -year break, the return with “Father of the Bride” (2019) showed a new artistic maturity, exploring folk and soft rock influences and gaining the applause of criticism. In 2024 the band returns with “Only God was Above Us”, an album that reaffirms their ability to reinvent themselves without losing their identity.

Originally from Dublin, The Murder Capital They imposed themselves as one of the most intense bands of the contemporary post-punk scene. Founded in 2018 by James McGovern, they propose a raw sound that recalls the British post-punk of the 80s. The debut with “When I Have Fears” (2019) immediately attracted attention thanks to the emotional depth of the songs and their live, intense and theatrical performances. In 2023, with “Gigi's recovery”, new sounds explore, alternating ethereal atmospheres and moments of pure aggression, consolidating their role in the alternative scene.

THE Deiv They embody the spirit of Dream Pop and contemporary Shoegaze, with dreamlike sounds and melancholy melodies. Formed in Brooklyn in 2011 on the initiative of Zachary Cole Smith, they were able to evolve by maintaining a distinctive identity. From the debut with “Oshin” (2012), characterized by reverberated guitars and cryptic texts, they experienced new sound shades with “Is The Is Are” (2016) and “Deceiver” (2019), embracing grunge and introspective influences. With the new album “Frog in Boyling Water” (2024), they explore existential discomfort, confirming themselves among the most fascinating bands of the modern indie scene.

New location

The big news that will mark the 2025 is the change of locationan idea in the air for some time and concretized thanks to the commitment of the municipal administration of Romano d'Ezzelino, to offer the public an even more engaging and comfortable experience. Ama Music Festival thus moves from Ca 'Cornaro to the new, spectacular setting of the Park of Villa NegriAlways to Romano d'Ezzelino (VI), near Bassano del Grappa. A large area surrounded by greenery and set at the foot of Monte Grappa, Which will guarantee more space, better services and easier management of parking and accessibility. This transfer has found its realization to respond to the growing needs of the public and make the festival even more welcoming, sustainable and functional.
