THIRTEEN PETER, “HIGH”
The young talent from Bologna has long been one of the most interesting artists on the new Italian rap and urban scene and this new piece confirms his abilities. With “High“, Thirteen Peter takes a further step forward in his path of stylistic and musical evolution as a soloist.
“High” is a song that musically draws inspiration from the American hip hop sounds of the 2000s, mixed with more pop influences with a powerful bass line. Stylistically, however, the strong point of Thirteen Peter it's his personal style: tight lyrics, an energetic beat and a meaningful text where, once again, the artist lays himself bare without giving up the social criticism to which we are accustomed.
The song was produced by Drast and co-wrote with him.
Surprisingly, the rapper from Bologna also sang the song in preview to the people present at the “Midnight Pasta Fest“, a special evening held at “Testaccio Estate” in Rome on Sunday 23 June and made possible thanks to the collaboration between Spaghetti Unplugged and We Love Pasta.
The two singles of Thirteen Peter – “High” And “Big Panorama” – they come after the collaboration with Lil Busso in their joint album “LOVESICK” released in December 2022, a varied and explosive musical journey. They have collaborated with, for example, Diss Gacha And Villa Banks and brought their music to the stage of the Nameless Music Festival in 2023.
