Ermal Meta: Vital functions is the singer-songwriter's new album of unreleased songs: a record that comes with the idea of putting the story, the images and the writing that over the years has allowed him to shed his skin without losing recognisability.

The project arrives at a time when the artist is at the height of his creative maturity and moves along a precise line: singer-songwriter yes, but with a more narrative scope and a broader photography of the present. Inside there are personal and collective themes, from identity to memory, up to the anxieties of the time in which we live.
Ermal Meta come back with Vital functions
After Good luck (2024), where he had already pushed hard on affection, daily life and introspection, this new chapter seems to want to broaden the perspective: less “diary” and more choral story, with a writing that tries to keep together fragility and lucidity.
Inside the disc will also be present Little starsong with which Ermal Meta participate in 76th edition of the Sanremo Festivalindicated as one of the hearts of the project.
DeLoreanthe single that precedes the album
Also accompanying the announcement comes DeLoreanin radio rotation from tomorrow and available on all digital platforms. The song plays on a common imagination and a universal desire: that of going back and changing a choice, a word, a trajectory.
