According to the most generous estimates last night at the Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro, there were two and a half million people for the Lady Gaga concert. This morning, the Rio police revealed, two arrests were made. The two suspects had planned an attack on the concert.
According to Reuters, the group has acted driven by hatred for the LGBTQ+community. The two arrested were recruiting other people, even minors, “to create coordinated attacks using improvised explosive devices and Molotov bombs”.
The alleged leader of the group was arrested in the State of Rio Grande do on the illegal possession of a firearm. A Rio's teenager was stopped for possession of child pornography.
“We learned of this alleged threat through the media,” said a spokesman for Gaga. “We have no news of security problems before and during the concert, nor were there communications from the police or authorities about potential risks”.
During the Fake Monster operation, so called by the police in reference to Little Monsters, Gaga's fanbase, there were 15 other 15 people throughout the country. The plan was discovered by the computer arm of the Ministry of Justice after a blow of the State of Rio police.
