Last month The Weeknd held a special concert in a Los Angeles aircraft hangar to celebrate a major milestone: being the artist with the most songs with over a billion streams on Spotify (25 to be precise). The concert, in its entirety, is now visible directly on the streaming platform and below.
Billions Club Live With The Weeknd: A Concert Film immortalized the 50-minute show that the Weeknd gave in front of around 1,700 fans. The setlist includes a number of hits from The Weeknd's career, particularly those that are part of the Billions Club of Spotify, including The Hills, Blinding Lights, Can't Feel My Face, I Feel It Coming And Starboy. The Weeknd also played some of his new singles, Timeless And Sao Paolo.
In addition to releasing the new concert film, the artist is preparing for the release of his highly anticipated new album, Hurry Up Tomorrowwhich Abel Tesfaye said was the last one under The Weeknd's name. The album will arrive on January 24th and will conclude the trilogy started with After Hours of 2020 and continued with Dawn FM of 2022.
The Weeknd will celebrate the arrival of his new album with a one-night-only show at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California on January 25th. Tesfaye will also star in a film, also titled Hurry Up Tomorrowwhich hits theaters May 16. The film was directed by Trey Edward Shults and will star Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan.
