The first song extracted, written by the Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriters Abigail Barlow and Emily Bearis played by Chiara Grispoan artist also present in the first film “Oceania“.
“When writing the text, we spoke with many people from Oceania and the Polynesian islands, and what unites them all is the deep connection to their heritage and the way they honor their ancestors. As daunting as this journey is for Moana, she still can't back out. This journey scares her but also exalts her, because it is a call from the ancestors.
