The band returns one year after the release of their debut EP “Follya” (Universal Music Italy) with a completely renewed look but the usual determination and a great desire to leave their mark with this new chapter.
THE Follyaex Dear Jackwon over the general public with their participation in the program Friends of Maria De Filippi in 2014, and after the first years of success they decided to transform themselves several times, then deciding to embark on this new artistic path.
The members of the band, currently composed of Alessio Bernabei (voice), Alessandro Presti (low) e Riccardo Ruiu (drums), in their lyrics they explore themes such as sex, love, drugs, hope, death and fear.
In the new single “Number one“, produced and recorded in the mountains in the summer, the authors create an intimate environment and an atmosphere that is both nostalgic and energetic, telling the story of that person that each of us puts first in our lives, be it a love, a friend, a mother or even a pet.
“We changed boats, flags and crew, we remained offshore, alone, in the middle of the ocean, at the mercy of the wind. But the love for what we have always done gave us the strength not to sink. It seemed impossible, but in the end we became friends with our scars, which did not ruin the skin but drew a kind of map” they tell Follya.
