There are no titles, there are no interpreters and for now not even a director, but the biopic on Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne will be done. This at least as shared this week by Sony, who already in 2021 had announced that he wanted to develop a project on the couple.
The updates on the project had been scarce during these years. Instead now the news has arrived that it would be “at the end of agreements with a director, who should be confirmed very soon”.
Developed together with Polygram Entertainment and Osbourne Media, the original list of producers included members of the daughter Osbourne: the two children Jack and Aimee Osbourne, and Sharon. Lee Hall had been called to the script in the first instance, among others of Rocketmanbiopic on Elton John with Taron Edgerton. A recent Polygram statement, he writes Varietyhe would see Hall always involved, and would have confirmed the team of manufacturers designated.
The next step, now, should be the confirmation of the director. There is currently no information about the life period of the couple that the film would like to cover.
