After over thirty years of career between underground, production and the stage of Sanremo Festival, Fausto starts from himself with a project born from the urgency of describing an authentic moment of transition, free of superstructures.
FAUSTO LAMA, The meaning of “so much so”
The individual faces the end of a relationship with extreme clarity. There is no gossip or clamor, but the realization that a love can simply run out. so much so it represents a calm and human greeting, the need to close a chapter in order to start a new one without guilt.
The song reflects on a simple but often difficult to accept truth: it is possible to break up with a friendly “He how are you?“, accepting that perfection does not exist and that, as the artist says, “you feel more alive by making mistakes“.
The project and the video
The song is the result of a creative retreat that took place in September in a farmhouse in the Piedmont hills. Together with some musician friends, Fausto gave birth to new songs born from an instinctive flow. The same Fausto Lamahe describes this moment like this:
“It's the first piece of my new musical life and it's how I've always felt: never quite right by standards. Raw songs were born, at times reflective and cynical, something that hasn't happened to me in a while.”
