Out September 20th on all digital platforms”In Full Sails”, the band's new single Fitness Foreverin collaboration with Calcuttaco-author and voice of the piece.
The song is the first taken from the group's new album, “Love and Health”, the fifth of their career, due out in November 2024 for Elefant Records with distribution Altafonte.
“In Full Sails”, in addition to the sensitivity of Calcuttaone of the best known voices in the new Italian songwriting, also features the collaboration of Alan Sorrenti with some vocal insertions that enrich the sound texture.
The band, composed of Carlos Valderrama and its collective of musicians, returns with this new single which reconfirms their identity, with a new Neapolitan sound, already well defined with their last album “Tonight”. In the track “André”, a disco/funk/balearic suite sung in Neapolitan, have in fact led to the spread of Neapolitan Funk, now present for some years in many playlists and dancefloors.
The song marks the return of the band Fitness Foreverfive years after their last album, not with a simple song but with a real life metaphor, which traces a musical path that goes from Naples to Sorrento, without having a precise destination.
The sounds range between jazz-funk and great soundtracks, recalling the 70s with Alberto Radius and the arrangements of Arthur Verocai.
