The song shows a more delicate and romantic side of the artist, who does not hide his most sincere vulnerability, continuing on his path of experimentation.
In this new single we find a sound driven by guitar strumming and enriched by a fresh and contemporary beat, produced by AJ.
In the text Ayle he talks about the opposing forces he feels inside him, which seem to fight endlessly, continually overpowering each other and blocking him in the center of the two, helpless.
“2am” was born in a station, while the artist was waiting for a late train that seemed to never arrive, and everything in that moment began to seem distorted, out of place, malfunctioning: a chaos, just like what he felt inside himself.
“It often happens to me that, in the time between the creation of a song and its release, I realize that my mood has already changed, that I have already evolved. My path is constantly changing: I am constantly looking for something new, without ever betraying my authenticity“ tells Ayle.
The artist participated in Amici di Maria De Filippi in 2023, reaching the evening phase and subsequently publishing his first EP “The part of the world I don't like“.
