Ten albums are not a symbolic goal, they are a structured path over time. March 20th Nayt will publish I Individualhis tenth studio project, while he is competing for the first time at the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival with Before.
Among the most recognizable and introspective pens of his generation, over the years the artist has built a personal language capable of keeping urban and singer-songwriter together without ever slipping into formula. This new chapter also seems to move in that direction.
nayt: I individual – A record about identity
I Individual arrives a year and a half ago Letter Q and the title already suggests the center of the project: a reflection, direct and without filters, on what makes up a person's identity. Its contradictions, its facets, its gray areas.
Inside the album will also be included A manpublished last October and introduced by a question that summarizes the entire conceptual framework: “how is it possible to be a man?”. A track that already anticipated the need to strip away superstructures to remain with what is essential.
The song Beforewritten by Nayt and produced by Zephwas born precisely from this urgency: asking ourselves what remains when we eliminate social structures, customs and habits that often interfere in human relationships. An attempt to meet again for who we really are, before filters and roles intervene.
