The Negrita launch the new album songs for ruthless years

THE Negrita have released the new album Song for ruthless years (USM/Universal).

The record project comes seven years after the latest work in the studio Desert Yacht Club and contains the individuals There are no innocent friend of my friend, We are the others And In the blue (letter to the masters of the earth).

Song for ruthless years It is a concept album of 9 songs that represents an act of creative freedom and thought. A reaction album that with critical and deep eye analyzes the contemporary with the need to tell the real country with a direct style, without compromise. The focus is to affirm the diversity and independence of thought.

“It is not needed who knows what degree of sensitivity to understand when the world that has grown you is slipping towards a worrying toxic drift. The options for an artist are two. Or turn the other side by looking at the tip of the feet or takes the situation by giving up, denouncing, with the weapons he has, what is wrong. Negrita – Song for ruthless years

In Song for ruthless years the Negrita They want to photograph the difficulties of living today through the key themes of the whole album: the desire to escape and the disillusionment. The album is conceived as a political (and non -party) work in the deepest sense of the term, addressing the issues concerning the community and its daily challenges without taking sides if not on the side of autonomous minds.

It is a more than musical literary concept, in which words become the connection element between the songs.

International folk is the matrix of the composition, but not of the arrangements. Each song is linked to the other in a project in which the common thread is represented by the issues addressed.
