Alongside the consolidated names, new voices are advancing capable of broadening the sound profile of the genre: Tony Boy, among mumble And cloud rap and already selected for Spotify Radar Italia 2024, or the emerging Glocky, which enters the charts at number 50 as part of the 2025 edition of the program. In the panorama of the most listened to, Olly also stands out, indicated as the face of a new generation of singer-songwriters.
Wrapped, which summarizes the tastes and habits of over seven hundred million users around the world, also reaffirms the weight of Sanremo in the Italian market. Four songs from the festival occupy the national top 10: “Balorda nostalgia” by Olly and Juli, “Incoscienti Nuovi” by Achille Lauro, “La cura per me” by Giorgia and “Battito” by Fedez. The top part of the chart is completed by “Neon” by Sfera Ebbasta and Shiva (number 3), the summer hit “La plena – W Sound 05” by W Sound, Beéle and Ovy On The Drums (number 4) and “DtMF” by Bad Bunny, further proof of the increasingly marked attention of the Italian public towards Latin sounds.

Abroad, Italian artists continue to grow: Måneskin remain the most listened to for the fourth consecutive year, ahead of the dance music of Gabry Ponte and the piano minimalism of Ludovico Einaudi. Followed by Damiano David, who made his solo debut in 2025 with “Funny little fears (Dreams)”, and Laura Pausini.
The global picture sees Bad Bunny returning as the most listened to artist in the world, with over 18.8 billion streams: it is his fourth time after 2020, 2021 and 2022. Spotify accompanies the milestone with a dedicated international film, experiences for fans and special content on the platform. Taylor Swift and The Weeknd also appear on the podium, with Drake and Billie Eilish in fourth and fifth place. The most listened to song in the world in 2025 is “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, ahead of “Birds Of A Feather” by Billie Eilish and “Apt.” by Rosé and Bruno Mars. Closing out the top 5 are “Ordinary” by Alex Warren and “DtMF” by Bad Bunny.
With 7.7 billion plays, “Debí tirar más fotos” is the most listened to album of 2025, followed by the soundtrack “KPop Demon Hunters (Soundtrack From The Netflix Film)” and “Hit Me Hard And Soft” by Billie Eilish. Fourth and fifth place go to “SOS Deluxe: Lana” by SZA and “Short N' Sweet” by Sabrina Carpenter.
In podcasts, in Italy the true crime maintains its lead: “Elisa True Crime” remains the most listened to for the third consecutive year, followed by “Indagini” by Stefano Nazzi. The top 5 are completed by “Stories” by Cecilia Sala, “One More Time” by Luca Casadei and “Passa dal BSMT” by Gianluca Gazzoli, which confirms the growth of the interview format. Half of the titles in the top 10 are video podcasts. Globally, “The Joe Rogan Experience” continues to lead the charts for the sixth year.
Wrapped 2025 is available today on the Home screen of the updated Spotify app for iOS and Android. The platform's editors have also created playlists dedicated to the most popular genres in Italy, including “Best Of Plus Ultra” and “Best Of Alta Rotazione”.
