THE The Kills they are on tour in Europe to present their sixth studio album, God Gamesreleased last October.
In the 12 tracks of God Gamesthe duo composed of Alison Mosshart And Jamie Hincewith this hypnotic and propulsive album, explores new sounds, while maintaining the band's characteristic seductive swagger.
The Kills have totaled hundreds of millions of streams through albums like Keep On Your Mean Side [2003]No Wow [2005]Midnight Boom [2008] and Blood Pressures [2011]. More recently, Ash & Ice hailed Pitchfork as “an ambitious record that encapsulates everything they've done before”, while NME described it as a “career highlight”, awarding it four out of five stars.
After the praise of Ash & Ice, the band ventured back in time, taking a deep dive into their b-sides with Little Bastards [2020], a compilation album containing an unreleased demo titled “Raise Me.” Meanwhile, The Kills have released a reissue of their famous album, No Wow (The Tchad Blake Mixes) [2022]with remastered and reimagined mixes of the songs.
