Summary of the first season: Kid Lost, the first winner
The first edition of New scene – Rhythm + Flow Italiaaired on Netflix in 2024, it was very successful. The format, inspired by the US competition of the same name, has seen new talents of Italian rap emerge, with increasingly demanding tests and exceptional guests.
The final saw triumph Kid Lostchosen by Geolierwho conquered the prize pool of 100,000 euros. His authentic style and his ability to tell reality through the rhymes made him the first winner of New scene in Italy.
New scene 2 on Netflix: how will it be structured?
Less than a month after the release, the teaser trailer already suggests that the tension will be to the stars: the three judges are determined to find the new promise of the scene, testing competitors with increasingly complex challenges.

This new edition will also be made up of eight episodesdivided into three parts:
- From 31 March: The first four episodes will be dedicated to the selections, with the judges in search of emerging talents. The novelty of this year is the desire to find the best rappers not only in large urban centers, but also in the Italian provinces and even abroad. We will move from Turin to Genoa, from Puglia to the Ionian Sea, to London.
- From 7 April: In the following three episodes, the best competitors will have to face increasingly difficult evidence, including freestyle, video clips and featuring Battle with big names in the Italian rap scene.
- From April 14: The last episode will be entirely dedicated to finalwhere the three finalists will compete for the victory and the prize pool from 100,000 euros.
From judges to production
The three judges, after the success of the first season, return with even more determination to find the best rap talent of Italy. Fabri Fibrawith his long experience and his status of legend of the scene, he will offer competitors a fundamental technical and artistic guide. Geolierone of the most influential artists of the moment, will bring his vision of modern rap and record success. Rose Villainwith its eclectic style and its strong international imprint, will be ready to evaluate the flow and originality of the participants.
The second season of New scene – Rhythm + Flow Italia It is written by Dino Clemente, Matteo Lenardon, Paola Papa, Sonia Soldera and from Chiara Guerra, Vincenzo Majorana, Marina Pagliaridirected by Alessio Muzi. The format, already very successful in the United States and France, continues to consolidate in Italy as the largest show dedicated to hip hop culture and to discover new voices in the music scene.
