Friday 14 February Maria Tomba release his first album, Requiem (for a dream). The disc, outside for Artists island/ADAit comes out in conjunction with the participation of the artist in the 75th Sanremo Festivalwhere he competes in the category new proposals with the song Goodbye (I want good vibes).
Maria Tomba Requiem (for a dream): a journey between darkness and rebirth
The disc represents an inner path in search of liberation and rebirth, addressing issues related to mental imprisonment, self -destruction and spiritual awakening.
Through a dreamlike and dark narration, Maria Tomba Invites to embrace the pain by transforming it into creative energy, leaving behind the illusions to rediscover their authentic strength.
“The musical path develops as a suggestive dream, between lights and shadows, to the 'Alice in Wonderland', with a more dark atmosphere, but at the same time full of self -irony and meaning“, tells Maria. “Each song represents a phase of this inner journey, opening a gash in human psychology“.
