It is not a project that focuses on shouted demands, but on a more silent need: to stop, look back and take back the right to define one's identity without any more mediation.
WHO IS LORENZZA
Lorenzzastage name of Lorenzza Lacerda Campos, was born in 2002 in Bahia, Brazil, and grew up in Pisa. Rap soon becomes a space for personal storytelling, a language through which to bring together strength and fragility, experience and vision.
Central elements of his story return in his lyrics: the move to Italy, the absence of his father, the bond with his mother, the relationships and friendships that endure. A direct writing, which avoids rhetoric and focuses on emotional clarity, making his voice recognizable from the first steps.
After a series of freestyles that highlight flow and pen, in November 2024 he published with Sugar Music his first EP IN LORENZZAa project that confirms an already defined personality. In 2025 he returns with the single To those who made me cold and signs collaborations with Elodie in Able and with Aries in The Distance Of Golden Years. THE NEW EP IN LOREN2ZA
The new EP TO LORENZA it was announced with a trailer published on the artist's social profiles. Set in a confessional, the video tells of a feeling that runs through the entire project: not feeling like it really happens yet. When asked if there is anyone who knows her completely, the answer does not come in words but in images, through her family, her home, her origins.
This EP is a prayer I made to myself at a time when I needed to strengthen myself, to remember who I am, what brought me here and what my reasons are. Inside are all my sides, even those that I had never shown before and that people still didn't know. I wanted to tell myself in a sincere way, as I have always done in my rap: I talked about who I am, about my experiences and also about new aspects, never addressed before. There are more intimate songs, others that touch on new themes for me and also lighter and more frivolous moments. Ultimately, it is just this: a prayer addressed to myselfexplains the artist.
Not by chance TO LORENZA is an EP dedicated entirely to herself. The name returns like a mantra, transforming the project into a stance: taking back the right to define oneself, as a person even before being an artist.
The single precedes the EP Onlyavailable from Wednesday 4 February at 6.00 pm. The song reiterates a central concept of the project, that of awareness of one's uniqueness. More than an outward statement, it sounds like a reminder addressed to herself, born from the need to make peace with her own voice and her own path.
With an acid and dissonant sound, TO LORENZA focuses on the same thing as the trailer: origins, family, identity. And the idea of taking back one's definition.
