“The difference is made by people”

Out Friday 8 November for Number One / Sony Music Italy, It May Have No Weight is the new EP by French Saintswithin which we find six songs that represent an authentic and unretouched photograph of Mario And Alexander.

These are six songs from2000s rock imprintthe result of an experiment in simplification and immediacy that takes into account only their expressive urgency. And here the songs speak of intimate truths, expressing – strongly – the desire to be played on a stage.

“The title was born before the EP and the song itself and explains a concept that we have been thinking about for some time and which concerns not only music, but a certain idea, shared by both, of life. Only later did we decide to attribute it to this work and to a particular song”, say i French Saints.

Then they add: “Each song is conceived freelywithout imagining a goal or recipient. It could therefore remain suspended, like an echo. But there's something magical that happens when those sounds, those concepts, those images reach someone. If the songs are listened to, then they acquire a value, a weight, a relevance, transforming into something else. And that conditional at the beginning of the sentence becomes both a warning and a salvation: the difference is made, today and always, by people”.

The EP will be available digitally starting November 8th. The 45 rpm containing I'm afraid of everything and the title track will be available for purchase starting from November 15th. Those who pre-order it will be able to access the copy signing during the Club Tour 2024 of November and December.
