The new album “Peaches!” (Easy Eye Sound/Warner Records), preceded by the new single “You Got To Lose”, will be released on May 1st and it will enclose 10 songs. The project took shape during one of the most difficult moments in singer Dan Auerbach's life: his father's diagnosis of esophageal cancer and his stay at his son's home in Nashville as his condition worsened. In that context full of pain and helplessness, music becomes a necessary refuge.
The album was recorded with all the musicians playing in the same room, with very few overdubs, and is the first album mixed entirely by the same band since 2006, the year of publication of “Magic Potions”.

THE BLACK KEYS
THE Black Keys were born at the beginning of the 2000s in Akron, Ohio, from the meeting between two childhood friends, Dan Auerbach (vocals and guitar) and Patrick Carney (drums). From the beginning, the duo developed a working method based on shared writing, recording and production, maintained over time and based on improvisation and an essential approach.
After the first albums “Thickfreakness” (2003) and “Magic Potion” (2006), the band achieved wider visibility with “Attack & Release” (2008), certified gold in the United States. International success came with “Brothers” (2010), double platinum and GRAMMY® winner as Best Alternative Music Album. The single “Tighten Up” receives GRAMMYs for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
In 2011 they released “El Camino”, which obtained the certification of double platinum and three GRAMMYs, including Best Rock Album. “Turn Blue” (2014) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, while “Dropout Boogie” (2022) marked their sixth entry into the Top 10 of the same chart.
Over the course of their career, the Black Keys have sold over 10 million records, earned five GRAMMYs and played venues such as Madison Square Garden. They have also collaborated with artists such as Noel Gallagher, Billy F. Gibbons, Beck and Juicy J. In 2025 they released their thirteenth studio album, “No Rain, No Flowers (Easy Eye Sound/Warner Records)”, which earned Dan Auerbach his fifth GRAMMYs nomination as Producer of the Year.
