So far we have offered you some of the 2024 rankings of the main international music publications, respectively Mojo, Uncut, Consequence, Pitchfork, Stereogum, The Wire, Ultimate Classic Rock, Rolling Stone, Paste Magazine and NME (New Musical Express), today we add to the list a rather dissonant voice, that of The Quietus magazine, dedicated above all to the more underground and experimental niches, a bit along the lines of The Wire. However, Charli XCX's hit song “Brat” is also included in this list. If last year the choices of The Quietus were dominated by Lankum, PJ Harvey and Teeth Of The Sea, this year the podium sees the post-hardcore of Moin on the third step, on the second the magnetic trance of Tristwch Y Fenywod and at the top the minimalism of Ex-Easter Island Head from Liverpool, with “Norther”.
