The Duran Duran recently published “New Moon (Dark Phase)”, a revisited version of the famous 1984 song “New Moon On Monday”, among the most loved of their repertoire. Published as a single of the re -edition deluxe of their latest album “Danse Macabre”, “New Moon (Dark Phase)” replaces the 80s synth buttons of the original with a more ethereal and modern arrangement, with contributions from the former member of the band, Andy Taylor.

According to keyboardist Nick Rhodes, the English band “opened a box of unpredictable curiosities and creativity” when he started working on “Danse Macabre”, released in 2023.
