Already available on all major streaming and download platforms, Shanghai (Freak&Chic / ADA Music Italy) is the new single by TheAndre and anticipates – together with the previous one, Omelette – the EP Ex Demo Dreamsout December 19.
“Shanghai tells the story of a love so impossible and secret that it itself becomes a ghost. It contains all the unsaid things which, precisely because they remain silent, keep their magic intact, but which at a certain point, if they are not expressed, wither and vanish into thin air.“.
THE ANDRE, “SOGNI EX DEMO”: THE TRACKLIST
With Shanghai TheAndre reveals to us an EP of songs with minimal productions, of songs that wandered around the rooms without finding their place, of stories that jump around without the boundaries of a whole.
“All the songs are unfulfilled DREAMS, unsaid things, vaguely dreamlike situations, proposed to the listener without being experienced”, The Andre explained.
Then, he added: “FORMER DEMO are the discounted instruments, because they have been displayed in the store. Furthermore, the tracks – with minimal production – are actually ex-demos”.
This small collection thus aims to give a space, a voice and hope even to those dreams that seem condemned to remain demos and then, suddenly, become songs, or rather ex-demos.
