«“Better Late”, first EP bySUPERTELEis a journey that oscillates between youthful disenchantment and the desire to find refuge in small things, in relationships and imaginary escapes.
Seven songs that oscillate between intimate ballads and tighter rhythms, stitched together by a sound made of arpeggiated guitars, retro-style synths and samples of everyday life. The pieces create a dreamy but concrete atmosphere, capable of describing fragility, euphoria and daily pain with a tone that is sometimes ironic, sometimes lyrical.
A work that combines dreamy aesthetics with texts that alternate poetry and colloquial language, managing to create a coherent and recognizable identity.
The result is a coherent and personal sound story, which alternates lightness and depth, intimate glances and surreal images. “Better Late” is dedicated to those who try to make sense of chaos, to those who get lost and find themselves in a glass.»
SUPERTELE
SUPERTELE he started playing at 10 years old. He has been writing songs since he was 13. Having fallen in love with punk and grunge as a teenager, he played in a series of bands around Brianza, Milan and northern Italy. Over the years, he broadens his musical horizon, experimenting with more psychedelic and experimental sounds, contaminating them with a singer-songwriter approach in the lyrics.
During the pandemic he began to dedicate himself to music production, laying the foundations for his solo project. In this second artistic life, he mixes samples, sounds captured from everyday life and vintage instruments, maintaining the DIY spirit that characterized his origins.
The result is a hybrid sound that ranges between alternative pop and lo-fi, with electronic influences and more danceable moments. In this project, SUPERTELE he writes, produces and sings his music, also taking care of the entire visual component.
