The great songs excluded from Sanremo Festival: the successes, sometimes missed without the Festival, sometimes achieved.
The Sanremo Festival it is the most prestigious musical stage in Italy, but over the years it has also seen major exclusions, with songs that could have found success through the competition. Some of these songs have ended up in the drawer forever, others still lie there waiting for the Ariston to open its doors to them and still others have left, perhaps even arrived at the Festival, but with a different performer.
And then there are different songs which, despite the NO from the artistic director of that edition, still managed to become hits. In our analysis we took into consideration i Sanremo Festival from 2000 to 2024.
