There are 66 (first) names announced by Sónar for the new edition which will be held from 12 to 14 June in Barcelona. The most important European electronic music festival has thus presented what will be part of its line up.
As always, Sónar has set no limits, ranging from a pop star like Nathy Peluso (fresh from three Latin Grammys) to Arca, from Peggy Gou, the best-known DJ on the planet, to Overmono and Bicep, two pairs of producers and DJs who are marking the new sound of electronic music. Among the unmissable names stand out Four Tet, Plastikman (Richie Hawtin's historic alter ego), Eric Prydz, Max Cooper and Skrillex in b2b with Blawan. For the world of clubbing, noteworthy are the sets of Juliana Huxtable, Honey Dijon, Sama' Abdulhabi, Jayda G, Helena Hauff, Polo & Pan.
For this edition, a series of new shows will also be presented such as that of Actress with Suzanne Ciani, co-commissioned by the festival with the Barbican in London and the cooperation of TIMES (which also presents two audiovisual shows with Saint Abdullah, Eomac & Rebecca Salvadori and Chris Watson & Izabela Dłuży), that of Rone x (La) Horde with the Ballet National de Marseille (with over 20 dancers on stage), as well as Raül Refree and Niño De Elche and Dania with Mau Morgó.
Sónar also continues to expand its reality with Sónar+D, a showcase of new projects, prototypes and products that will play a role in the future of art and, obviously, with Sónar, a series of events that will liven up Barcelona throughout the week.
The rest of the Sónar 2025 lineup will be announced early next year.
