An announcement was in the air, now it's certain: Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner's Smile are about to release a new album. The previous Wall of Eyes It came out in January of this year.
The album is titled Cutouts and will be released on October 4th. Produced by Sam Petts-Davies, the 10 new tracks were recorded at Oxford and Abbey Road Studios over the same period as Wall of Eyes. Also in Cutouts string arrangements by the London Contemporary Orchestra appear. The new cover was also painted during the recordings by Stanley Donwood and Thom Yorke.
The band released two songs from the album today, Foreign Spies And Zero Sumaccompanied by videos directed by Weirdcore. Some time ago he had already released the single Don't Get Me Started / The Slip.
