The brand's patriotic Anthem collection features Biles and Katie Ledecky, and Athleta's entire line just went on sale
The competition to sponsor the greatest Olympians is nearly as fierce as the games themselves. Gap's women's athletic brand, Athleta, has some heavy hitters on its roster. While Nike is the official sponsor of Team USA, Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky, the most decorated athletes in women's gymnastics and swimming, have partnered with Athleta. Their partnership is part of the brand's “Power of She” campaign, which “connects, celebrates, and empowers game-changing women.”

In addition to the Power of She campaign, Athleta unveiled its Anthem collection in June ahead of the Olympics, a limited-edition run of red, white, and blue workout apparel. The collection includes leggings, track jackets, and sweatshirts emblazoned with the phrase “Find Your Movement.” Athleta has sponsored Simone Biles since 2021, while Katie Ledecky joined the brand in March. Athleta is outfitting the athletes for their training and workout needs (Biles and Ledecky's competition uniforms are made by GK Elite and TYR, respectively).
In the partnership's announcement from March, Ledecky said, “Athleta has a history of supporting athletes holistically, which resonates with me. I'm more than my sport, and I know firsthand how harnessing the ethos of Athleta's Power of She platform can help empower women and girls.”
At this year's Olympics, Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky have continued to assert their dominance. Simone Biles led USA to Olympic gold in the Team final. Ledecky cruised to victory in the notoriously grueling 1500m freestyle heat, finishing nearly 18 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
