Sick Drum return to the stageHiroshima Mon Amour to present live “Dementia”the eighth chapter of a discography that continues to courageously delve into the folds of the human soul. Released January 16, 2026 for The Disc Stormthis new work does not try to tame discomfort, but chooses to cross it head-on, transforming it into living and pulsating matter.
The album moves on a terrain of strong contrasts, reflecting the confusion of those thoughts that lose their boundaries. Between sudden shocks and short pauses of apparent calm, the ten tracks of “Dementia” compose an emotional flow made of presence and absence, light and shadow. Sonically, the album is a successful meeting between indie rock and post-punk: a compact and visceral sound that remains faithful to the universe alternatives of the band, where the melody manages to dominate even the roughest passages.
Songs like “My head is always spinning”, “Silvia runs alone” And “I've lost my dreams” they tell of suspended figures and restless interior rooms, giving voice to a restrained anger that explodes in sudden flashes. The aesthetics of the project are complemented by the original artwork of Davide Toffolowhich together with Paolo Proserpio's graphics gives a visual face to this expressive urgency.
Born in Pordenone from the partnership between Gian Maria Accusani and Elisabetta Imelio after the experience with Prozac+Sick Tamburo confirm themselves as one of the most authentic and human groups on the Italian scene. Their ability to transform fragility and pain into pure energy found its most immediate dimension on the Hiroshima stage, transforming the concert into a shared and powerful experience.
