Almost fifty years after the 1976 ResidenceCy, the sex pistols returned to play at the 100 club in London. A secret live, announced only as “The Spots” (acronym for “Sex Pistols on Tour Secretly”, also used in '77 to get around the censorship), organized as a Warm-up for the March 24th at the Royal Albert Hall, in support of Teenage Cancer Trust, the beneficial association that deals with supporting teenagers and young adults affected by cancer.
On stage, together with Paul Cook and Glen Matlock, there was obviously Frank Carter, who from June 2024 took the place of John Lydon. The live was a dip in time: 75 minutes of pogo and volume to the maximum, with Never Mind the Bollocks played in full, more b-side, rarity and a couple of covers, including No fun of the Stooges.

In the room also important guests such as Noel Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie and Paul Weller. Carter dominated the scene: he walked on the heads of the public, joked with the band, thanked the present, “five fucking decades later, and we are still here”. The set could only close itself Anarchy in the UKas if time had never passed.
