The world of music and culture loses Sergio Ricciardone, a key figure of the Italian and international music scene. At 53 years old, Ricciardone went out in the past few hours due to a fulminating disease.
Founder and artistic director of C2C, has made Turin a point of reference for electronic and experimental music, transforming the festival into an event of international importance. His direction has contributed to defining the identity of the Festival, bringing global fame artists on stage and consolidating their prestige. Thanks to his vision, C2C hosted some of the most influential names of music, including Aphex Twin, Franco Battiato, Thom Yorke, Kraftwerk, Arca, James Blake and Caribou, establishing himself as one of the most innovative reviews in the European music scene.
In addition to work with C2C, Ricciardone collaborated with brands and cultural institutions, developing innovative projects. In 2017, he edited the musical schedule for the relaunch of the Officine Grandi Reparations, on behalf of the CRT Foundation.
