SANTACHIARA is ready to publish Convenience storethe new album out on February 13, 2026 For Soundvisions/Believe in vinyl And digital. The album arrives with an idea of launch outside the classic paths: an artistic guerrilla action that transforms a real minimarket Naples in a sound and visual installation, with “invented” objects instead of the products on the shelves, each linked to one of the eleven songs in the tracklist.
The project is supported by SIAE through the tender “For those who create” and moves on a very clear concept: a reflection on the hyper-commodification of contemporary culture and, specifically, music. The idea is to use the same rules and mechanisms as the “market”, but move them into a daily and human space, that of the shop near your home, where listening can once again become an encounter and not just consumption.
Who is Santachiara
SANTACHIARA (Luigi Picone) was born in Alberobello in 1998, he grew up traveling with his street artist parents and spent his adolescence in Spoleto before moving to Naplesin the neighborhood Saint Clarefrom which he takes his stage name.
In his career, different styles and practices coexist, from singer-songwriter to rock, from electronic to urban, with a tendency to mix genres and imagery without fixating on a single label. Studying piano and guitar, he began to experiment with self-made arrangements and writing full of references, between daily life and observation of the urban context.
“Minimarket”: the album as a shelf layout
Convenience store it's a job 11 songs which alternates autobiographical tales and urban stories, keeping together personal details and collective imagination. On a sonic level, it is described as an eclectic but coherent journey, capable of moving from more intimate atmospheres to more pressing rhythms without losing its direction.
“I wanted to use the same rules imposed by the market to engage the public, but moving everything into a more human space, the minimarket, which with its diversity of products perfectly reflects the variety of sounds and genres that make up this album”, explains the artist.
The guerrilla in Naples: products replaced with “song-objects”
The heart of the launch lies in concrete action: SANTACHIARA replaced famous brand products in a real convenience store with “fake” creations inspired by each song on the album, transforming the shelves into an everyday mise-en-scène. Everything has been documented and will be included in a video that will be distributed via the artist's social channels.
The choice of the convenience store will not be communicated as a “poster” address: it will be discovered by following the social media of SANTACHIARAconsistently with the logic of the project.
The official presentation of Convenience store will happen at midnight on February 13th in the same convenience store, with a mini live. A way to put the record in the space for which it was designed: not a traditional stage, but a place of proximity, where music becomes a shared and “site-specific” experience.
Production and musicians: who worked on the album
There is artistic production and mixing Stefano Juno Bruno (RIVA)who also played bass and sequences. On the drums Mirko Di Donnaon the guitars Emmanuel DiDonna, Luca Notaro And Luigi Scialdone (producer and multi-instrumentalist linked to Tropic And Fitness Forever). At the piano Francesco Lettieri. The mastering is signed by Giovanni Roma (aka blob).
The album was preceded by three singles that clearly clarify its emotional and sonic perimeter: You never see them (January 14, 2026) gives voice to those who remain on the margins and to that feeling of being unheard, with a sound that crosses rock and electronics and shoegaze nuances (produced by Santachiara with Stefano Bruno); Goodbye September (January 28, 2026) is a very intimate ballad, born between Naples and Milan, which tells of the moment when you feel you are no longer part of something and would like to take a step back while everything goes forward; Don't invite me (4 February 2026) closes the triptych with a more direct and liberating tone, between self-irony and the desire to learn to say “no”, built with Stefano (co-production) and Emmanuel (guitars) on a frank sound that reflects the idea of the song.
