Rolling Stone is proud to announce the full lineup for our Future of Music showcase at South by Southwest 2026 (SXSW). We'll be bringing the most exciting acts from across pop, hip-hop, country, and música mexicana to ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin, Texas, over three nights from March 12-14 — and with bills this stacked with talent, you don't want to miss the opening acts.
UK pop star Lola Young, who's made fans in the millions with unsparingly honest, brilliantly-crafted pop hits like “Messy,” will headline night one on March 12. The show that night will open with a roster full of compelling voices, including Texan artist Susanna Joffe, Southampton singer Saint Harison, and East London singer-songwriter Sofia and the Antoinettes, who recently released an excellent debut EP called Women Who Love Too Much.
Night two, on March 13, is all about Fuerza Regida, the hugely successful and influential música mexicana phenomenon from San Bernardino, California. With frontman Jesús Ortíz Paz, aka JOP, leading the band, Fuerza regularly put on a show to remember at arenas across the country. Seeing them in a more intimate setting at this showcase will be unforgettable. They're bringing along some of the top acts from JOP's Street Mob Records, including the fast-rising group Linea Personal; the popular Salinas, California band Clave Especial; and buzzworthy Mexican singer Chino Pacas.
On night three, March 14, Texas is in the house. The headliner is Dallas' own BigXthaPlug, whose catalog of hits draws on his home state's rich traditions of hip-hop and country music. His opening acts include a takeover by his label, 600 Entertainment, stocked with some of the hottest new artists in Southern rap, including Kaine Music, Bandman Kevo, Yung Hood, and PB — plus a must-see set from Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar collaborator INK.
Rolling Stone's Future of Music showcase is the best place to find your favorite new artists — and get a chance to tell your friends you saw a superstar back when they were coming up. The SXSW showcase is tied to our annual Future of Music issue, out April 2026, with stories on the most exciting rising artists across all genres rolling out in mid-March. Past Future of Music honorees have included Peso Pluma, Chappell Roan, Benson Boone, Rema, Megan Moroney, Young Miko, and many more.
Tickets are on sale now via AXS. A number of tickets will also be reserved for SXSW Platinum and Music Badge Holders and SXSW Music Festival wristband holders.
Stay tuned for more artists being added to the bill in the coming weeks.
