ROCKTRAIN SLAVES
THE Rocktrain Slaves were born in 2004 in Bologna from the meeting of two childhood friends, united by the desire to create original music inspired by the traditions of Delta blues and 70s rock, without settling for a repertoire of only covers. In April 2008 their first self-produced album “The Rain Can Wait” was released, distributed digitally and in stores, thanks to which they performed in some of the most important Italian blues festivals, such as Pistoia Blues 2008, sharing the stage with international legends such as Johnny Winter and Dickey Betts & the Great Southern.
In October 2014, after numerous concerts and the addition of a second guitar, “Another Place” arrives, the second studio album, entirely composed of original songs and welcomed with enthusiasm by specialized radio and press. With over 250 live performances, Rocktrain Slaves have consolidated their passion for visceral blues rock, keeping it alive through performances on major stages and in the studio.
After a forced break due to the pandemic and a lineup change, the band is now working on a new EP which will see the light soon.
