Robbie Williams defended Oasis over the controversy surrounding ticket prices for their 2025 reunion tour, we told you about it here.
In an interview with The Face, the interviewer asked Williams whether the rather affordable prices of his tickets were due to the Oasis controversy or whether he was impatient to sell more: «Maybe a bit of both Williams shrugged. “I think the whole music industry just learned something from this story.”
Then he added: «I have never attended a meeting with the subject 'How much do tickets cost?'. And I don't think Oasis did either. I don't think Oasis knew that. Liam definitely didn't know. I only know about dynamic prices thanks to Oasis.”
Williams believes the backlash taught the music industry that people can't be fooled: “That whole dynamic pricing thing made me say, 'Let's not let that happen!'”
